my norton 360 will not work after reinstall. getting error 8504 104

my norton 360 will not work after reinstall. getting error 8504 104 norton went through there settings and said it was a microsoft framework problem. any suggestions?

If not, sorry, but post back with a bit more info like which version of Norton 360, which W7 OS (home starter, home premium etc, 32 or 64 bit) and any other clues the Norton people gave you like which 'framework'? (.NET for example). The more info the better. Then hopefully someone may assist.
