Hi,
Is there an official way to find which Windows 10 key you are using on your machine? I've seen a few 3rd party software that does this, but before using those, and risk having my key send to their servers, I would like to know if there is an official way to find it.
I'm asking this, because I have 2 keys, and as shameful this may sound, I've forgotten which one I used on this PC, and now I need the other one for another PC.
Just to save some time, if someone is thinking about telling me how to find Product ID, then don't, because that is not the same thing as Product Key.
//Edit:
One way that I've seen is to use "wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3XOriginalProductKey", but when I use it, I get "OA3XOriginalProductKey" in return.
One thing I forgot to mention, is that the key I've used to activate this copy of Windows 10, was obtained from my college, using the program they have with Microsoft, where they are giving key to Windows, and other tools made by Microsoft, so maybe that is the reason I'm not getting the Key using that command.
And I have both keys stored in a file, for save keeping, but of course I had to forget to label which one is which.
