Installed Windows 8 Release Preview Now My DVD Drive Is Missing

Installed Windows 8 Release Preview on a Toshiba Satellite L775 and now my DVD drive will not show up. I have tryed all the reg edit suggestions such as:

reg.exe add "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\atapi\Controller0" /f /v EnumDevice1 /t REG_DWORD /d 0x00000001

reg.exe add "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\atapi\Controller0" /f /v EnumDevice2 /t REG_DWORD /d 0x00000002

All is states is that it was successful, but after a reboot I still have no DVD Drive listed.

This is whats stated in Device Manager:

Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

The Drive is a :

TSSTcorp CDDVDW TS-L633F

I've also pressed the update driver button, but it just says it got the latest driver install. The driver is a  Microsoft driver.

So what to do next?

Answer
Found a solution to my missing DVD drive !

I was wrong about have no drive software that has something to do with the DVD drive installed. The software was installed from Toshiba. It is call Toshiba Recovery Disk Creator. The software was there to make the original recovery disks for the laptop. I uninstalled the software and rebooted. I now have my DVD drive back.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions and help !
