Outlook mail Preview Mode

I installed windows 10.  My outlook mail format is fine, but husband's outlook mail is in the Preview mode.  From what I have read, there should be a "view" button to undo this but there is no "view" button to click.  Is there another way to get out of the Preview mode?

Hi,

Once you have accepted and migrated to the Outlook preview mode, you won't be able top revert back to the old Outlook mode.

Cheers,
Ben.

The change to Outlook Preview mode happened automatically when I downloaded windows 10.  He didn't actually do anything to get to the Preview mode.  Thank you for the disappointing information though :)

which would be bad enough if we'd even had an option to accept or reject it in the first place but the change is forced upon us without question or warning

I agree, I had no option and awareness that this was even happening and now I am not able to view any of my emails. This is seems very disappointing that an upgrade would essentially "lock" you (the user) out of viewing your own emails without a solution for how to fix.

At first, Preview frustrated me too!  However, I soon discovered that after opening an incoming message, there is a 'Reply' button on the right of the screen with a drop-down list of other actions - including ;Print' etc..

I can't view any of my emails either, or even start a new one.  I've posted several times, responded to the questions asked to help and received no answers.

I hate it when email services just change everything around with no real reason other than to "upgrade" because they somehow think making changes is progress.  If it's not broke don't fix it.

But I can deal with those changes and get used to them if at least the Outlook would actually work.  Not being able to read an email or start a new one makes it worthless.  I don't want to switch to a new browser just to open my email, using on Safari shouldn't be a big deal to just make it work.
