TH1 Professional 10240

What is it? Final build?
No, not final version, possibly RTM, final build will as they say be released 29th July.
A computer is a device, that requires human input to operate efficiently.
Alas we humans do fail!!!!

Something I just noticed, 10240 doesn't appear to be time bombed.

If you open Winver or a CMD or Powershell    Type in slmgr.vbs -dlv

On 10166 expires 2/10/2015

10240 - Licensed  ( no expiry)

Windows 11, The Guessing OS.

RTM is the final version and yes this is RTM. This is the same build that is going out to manufactures.

OR,

Install Insider Hub, it's still there.

Insider Hub & Windows Feedback app

Because we’re getting ready for the final release, we’re removing a few things we don’t expect to ship to everyone. So starting with the next build, the Insider Hub will no longer be pre-installed. Windows Insiders can reinstall the Insider Hub app through the following steps:

  • Go to Settings, System, Apps & features
  • Click Manage optional features then Add a feature
  • Select the Insider Hub entry (the list is in alphabetical order) and click Install.

Apparently I will need min. 16GB RAM for Win 12 perhaps even 32 GB RAM.

What is it? Final build?

The ISO downloads page on the Windows Insider Program is still closed for business, even though build 10240 is available both in the slow lane as well as the fast lane.

Will this not open again until Insiders get the RTM version?

And will there be another TH1 build before July 29?

Will my Windows Insider preview version update to the RTM version or do I have to reinstall my Windows 7 in order to be eligible for the RTM version of Windows 10?  I have not found a place where this is made clear.
