Stuck on "Surface"-logo boot screen upgrading to 100030 on Surface 3 (not pro)

Hi all,

My Surface 3 (not pro) wont upgrade to 130. I was on 122 (which too was problematic). And I got the usual cant upgrade error. After going back to 074 with clean install, I tried again. This times it downloads, and prepares and then goes to reboot. However, it does not boot. I gets stuck on the white on black "Surface"-logo (or white on red, with TMP turned off) and refuses to boot further. Resetting brings me back to 074 with an error message "cant upgrade to windows 10".

Ideas?  My Surface Pro 3 upgrades without a problem. Both to 100122 and 100130.

Status:

Surface 3 128gb, 4gb

Bitlocker = off

TPM = off

Secure boot keys = off

Answer
Answer
Microsoft is investigating the issue with the Surface 3 failure to upgrade to 10130. This issue does NOT impact the Surface PRO 3.
