Blue screen after upgrade to developer preview 14376

My Windows 10 Pro DP PC was very smoothy but after the upgrade to the new preview version the system doesn't want to start anymore.

I see the hour-glass circle under the windows logo for ca. 20 seconds and then the following error:

PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA
Cause of error: ReFS.sys

I tried the recovery, the rollback and the "go back to previous build"-function, but in all cases the pc didn't found a system restore point or another option to recover the pc. My trying to repair the system has ended with a simple blue screen and an automatic restart.

I will try to rescue the system with a Windows 10 ISO tomorrow.

My hardware:

  • Intel Core i7 2600K 4x3.4GHz
  • 8GB GEIL CL9 PC3-10666 KIT
  • Gainward GTX570 1280MB
  • LG GH-22NS SecurDisc
  • Gigabyte Z68A-D3H-B3

Of course.

Either no search results or the people were be able to start the system for driver or file checks.

There have bee a lot of posts.  I just looked and there are over 20 posts.

Click on the Feedback Hub, on bottom right click on Forums, click on Windows Insider Preview, Go down to PC or Phone and make PC and Apply.

At the top of the page there is a box type in page and see all of the different posts.  A bunch have been answered.

Do you have a web link to the Feedback Hub?

I think you didn't understand me, sorry.

I know the Feedback Hub in Windows 10 but - as I said - I can't start the system.

How can I search for posts in the Feedback Hub when I can't access to the Feedback Hub?

If this is your only computer you should not be in the Insider program.

Looking through some there has been reports of Norton causing the Problem.

Do you have a 3rd party AV or security program installed?  If you do uninstall completely, do not just disable as the code is still on the computer and causes problems.

First, I have a second computer. A MacBook Pro, that I use in this moment to answer your questions.

And no, the Developer Preview PC ist a test system with cloud clients and office only. And Windows Defender, course. And as I said, the error appeared after the last preview update.

I think it is a bug in the preview. Bugs happens. ;-)
