Xbox live freezing up downloading

Last night i spent three hours trying to download (_Full House Poker_) with no success. It would get up to 45%-46% SOMETIMES GETTING UP TO 63% THEN BACK TO 45%-46% AND FREEZE UP. After spending two hours on the phone with xbox support nothing was answered and my credits were simply refunded.I want to play this game and really have no other use for these credits and do not want to wait 5 days for a supervisor call back. Anyone else have this problem.? Anyone have an answer?

Cleared my cache and tested my connection.

Is your Xbox very old?

its a 4gig slim just got it in march

As suggested in our Downloading sticky post, you might want to check http://speedtest.net and see what kind of speeds you are getting. You can feel free to share that image link here in the forums if you aren't sure.
