TROUBLES WHEN I WANT TO PLAY

I HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP ME WITH THIS TROUBLE YESTERDAY WHEN I WANT TO CONNECT TO LIVE MI CONSOLE SHOW ME THE MESSAGE THERES AN UPDATE FOR X BOX LIVE AND I NEED TO DOWNLOAD FOR SIGN IN THE CONSOLE TOOK MAYBE MORE OF AN HOUR TO DOWNLOAD THE UPDATE BUT WHEN FINISH THE DOWNOLAD REBOOT SINCE THEN ANY DISC CAN´T BE READ IF SOMEONE CAN TELL ME WHATS GOING ON OR HOW CAN I SOLVE THIS PROBLEM
PLEASE I NEED SOME HELP

There is an open tray and disc unreadable sticky at the top of this forum OP. There are several steps in there to try.

However if none of the steps help I would suggest phoning support for your region. Be sure to explain to them this happened immediately after installing the new update.
