No way. Everyone knew Dom was going to die or at least I did. He had nothing left to live for other then Marcus. ''Brothers to the End'' gave it away too. The commercial saying 'Brothers to the End' and showing Marcus and Dom was another hint.

He died to save Marcus and the rest of the team.

Sincerely , i thought the same. Maybe the one that was going to sacrifice was Carmine. About the commercial i guess was made after found the vote of the gamers so thats not really irrelevant at all IMO. Someone was going to die, so if not Carmine  this time again for the votes then an important char.

Dom had nothing left to fight for :(

and besides carmine didnt die but where the heck was he the whole time? I rememeber him on act 2 and then he disappears and reappears at the end of the game, kinda weird to me
