RE: Batman Arkham City - Disc Unreadable

Hi, I've just bought this game brand new and sealed, but can only get about 5 mins of gameplay from it before it claims the disc is unreadable. As soon as I've beaten the penguin and his henchmen and climbed to the top it crashes every time with the same message, no matter how many times I clean the brand new disc.

Ive noticed on the internet that loads of people have had the same error so is there a fix for it or does anyone know how to fix this?

any help will be awesome as from what ive herd it's one of the best games around and was really looking forward to playing it

Are you able to install the game to your HDD and then see if you can get passed that point in the game??  It's just with installing it will no longer use the disk to read(still needs to be in the system) and may stop giving that disk read error. To install just press X on the load game icon from dashboard, instead of pressing A to launch.  I would also clear your cache support.xbox.com/.../download-xbox-live-content (link on how to learn cache) and any game update that might be in the folder, let it update again once your start playing the game.  You shouldn't have to delete any save files you already have.


But do try the above and see if  that helps any, and let us know.  :)
