minecraft keeps freezing

mine keeps freezing too. It only happens on the minecraft game because i play all my other games and it doesn't happen, does anyone know what the hell is wrong with the minecraft game?

I think 4J has a planned fix for the freezing.  Should be out in the bug fix update, which is coming in about 1-2 weeks.

Same here, it was freezing randomly for the last week, but today it freezes about 2 minutes into the game every time. It is just Minecraft too, tested a bunch of other arcade downloaded games and disc games and it is only Minecraft =(  So sad, just after it got me all addicted too.

Yeah, I can't leave the Nether without the game freezing :/

I bought Minecraft xbox 360 edition a week ago and it has already started to make my xbox freeze whenever i try to load my world, I can make other worlds and they work fine but i want them to fix this problem as I am quite annoyed... I have re-installed multiple times but nothing has has changed.

However, one member posted a work around that I've been currently trying for the past hour and my old world hasn't locked up once. Instead of working in offline mode and deleting all of your signs, this person suggested loading your old world in offline mode and then going to a remote corner of the map that you haven't worked a lot on. Save, then quit and load the map again in online mode and you shouldn't have any trouble. I tried this exact thing and ran to a corner of a map that I have explored but didn't mess with and than save and loaded the same map back in online world and in the hour I've been running through it my 360 hasn't frozen once. I even took the time to run around the areas I've been working on with a lot of signs and I'm still not having any problems. Might be something for everyone having problems to try out."

My mine craft freezes almost immediately after I load my world. I have an xbox slim I've had it for about 3 months so its kinda new and my mine craft seemed to work fine before but now it keeps freezing and it doesn't happen on any other game HELP!~

My xbox keeps freezing and freezing and idk if it's cuz my world is to big for minecraft (19MB) or if it's cuz my xbox is really hot but ever sens the new update for minecraft came out it just keeps freezing as soon as I go into the world the first 2 minutes are ok but then it freezes I have my xbox in the freezer right now cooling down and I'll try to delete some minecraft things but all I know is notch or 4j studios needs to fix this fast cuz I have a important server I'm running and I can't get it running if this keeps freezing I have found a little something that helps if you go into your game save right away and move a little then save do this about 10 times and it should not freeze but keep saving ever once awhile

every time i go to my old world its so laggy  an buggie ever seens the 1.8.2 came out what the heck 4j >_<
