Gears of War

great atmosphere and solid game play  

The co-op campaigns have been very good,  horde mode is a blast,  this one will have 4 player co-op campaign.  Very good graphics and environments, excellent frame rate, solid gameplay, GOW3 will also have beast mode,  Almost no jaggies anywhere in the game.     Plus after playing the GOW3 mp beta, it looks like the mp will actually be good this time.  Its just a very solid enjoyable series.  I never cared for the mp but after playing the beta, I am excited for this mp.  

It's just that Gears of War isn't a game that can be laid back, and enjoyable. Even for me.

The gold standard in 3rd person cover based shooters.  Graphically and visually impressive.  Gears 3 will offer 4 player online coop campaign, beast mode, and horde mode.  Very addicting and fun competitive multiplayer.  Exciting and devistating weapons.  The best shotgun, ever.  The best headshot in the history of videogames.

It's just an awesome game with a great storyline and a great universe.

It's different from other shooters out there such as COD etc. It's a cover based shooter and the gameplay is solid with great graphics.

While I do love the headshots in the GOW series,   Fallout 3 and Fallout NV have by far THE best headshots hands down especially when using VATS.  You see the eyes, jaw bones, brain pieces, skull, and brain chunks all come out in slow motion.  Doesnt get any better than that.  lol

I love the co-op gameplay and the storyline is good.
