Far Cry 3 E3 Trailer

Looking good if I say so myself.

Back in 08 I rented Far Cry 2 and didn’t really give the game a chance receiving only two achievements at that time I throw the game back to blockbusters within the same day. Yesterday, I decided to give the game another chance and bought the game for $12.00 buck based on what I saw on the E3 trailer on Far Cry 3. This time around, I am enjoying Far Cry 2.

The demo looks great.  But I was a bit disappointed that no one asked about the Map Editor and Ubisoft never mentioned it.  For me the ability to use a full featured Map Editor on a console is a huge plus.  

One thing that concerns me about Far Cry 3 is the gameplay. I really hope it doesn't play like Far Cry 2 did. The vehicles essentially killed the game for me. You can imagine my dismay when discovering how delicate the vehicles were in comparison to, say, Instincts: Predator. You really couldn't do any crazy things with vehicles like you could in Predator. I understand the games are very different when it comes to physics, but should a car effectively start smoking or blow up after lightly crashing into another vehicle? I think not.

And the Call of Dutyesque class system in multiplayer needs to go. I miss the ability to individually place each weapon in map editor.

I completely agree BLUELINE976... atleast allow us to place weapons on the map that you can replace your starting weapons with. Putting a sniper rifle in a tower would be cool... possibly dead body "items" as well.

This is so rad! Come on Far cry 3! Please don't suck!

Looks like FC1 enviorment with FC2 gameplay, the bar was set pretty low with FC2, so there's really nowhere to go but up from here in the Far Cry series.

I hope FC3 works better so far, a full GB used up on FC2 my God that's allot of space taken up for one game.

yeah...but it was very much worth it...what other game can you create massive maps from the ground up?! and no other shooter was as realistic as far cry 2.

Yeah, the Forge is a joke compared to Far Cry 2's editor.
