Fake Emails From Xbox, Games for Windows Live

the email goes on to state that i had recently purchased a Games For Windows Live Game, And i never did.

The only Live game i have was purchased back in December of 2010, I got a laptop and Live Points to go with it .

I downloaded Grand Theft Auto IV, Graphics run fine, Game runs fine, Everything works great, I got an email back then about my purchase.

Now i'm Getting emails about purchased live points, Games for windows live downloads Free Avatar Items, Ect......

I actually turned on TrendMicro (firewall) And clicked the lnik, And it said it was a bad host, Connection interupted, Then prompted me to sign in to windows live.

I thought i would just share this with the support/community due to the recent cyber attacks on game industries lately im a bit concerned.

I went to my bank and checked my cards information, Only My purchases that i knew of were on there, There is nothing for live points or anything on the dates these emails came in, And i can tell you i have alot of games, The emails come right away to my email address when i purchase things.

I still have my correct funds and everything even my statement clears out.

So what have i been buying exactly? o.0

It's not fake. If you're using hotmail you can tell fake from legit emails by right clicking and choosing "View source". Anybody who's purchased something in the past seems to be getting this email. Everything in the email also fowards to the legitimate site as well.

The IP address it was sent from is also Microsofts.
