Ok, so I just picked up Martyr. This is the first book right? Am I to understand that Salvage is the second? Are these the only two actual books? What did you think of them? Better than the two movies? I've seen those. No spoilers please.

Martyr was alright, for the most part. The characters are rather generic and lack depth, but the story gets the job done. I haven't read Salvage yet, though...
