Credit Card Information

My nephew wants to use my credit card to buy points on his system. He needs the 4.99 option to get a map pack.  Can I use my credit card without adding it to his account so that he can't use it again later? I've noticed on my account that I cannot delete the last credit card from my account and I don't think he has one registered with his account. So I'm afraid my credit card will be stuck registered in his account. 

You would be better off going to the store and buying him a points card.  The credit card would remain on his account and who's to say he may accidentally buy more stuff on the card.

Thank you onyx that is what I was afraid of. If it stays on I won't do it. Does paypal work the same way, ie stay on his account?

Yes it does.  If the account is gold all payments will stay attached to the account for the duration of its gold tenure.  The only way for it to be removed would be for the account holder (your nephew) to call support and remove it after his gold has expired.

I do have a quick question and please take no offense.  Why would his parents not do this for him?

If your account is gold you can't remove it until your gold runs out.  You can however contact support and have them turn off auto renewal.  Once your gold runs out you can call them again to have the credit card removed.
