I recently started playing WAW again, to notice the multiplayer and my favourite zombies is over-run by cheaters. I have stopped trying to find a game where there are no cheaters as it doesn't seem to be possible, so I just play Black Ops now instead.
I just got sick of filing complaints on 5 different people every single game I connected to and being unable to have a normal game, so I just stopped playing it and thought nothing of it.
But, recently someone told me that you can get 'infected' if you have been on the WAW multiplayer where someone is cheating! They also told me you can get banned from XBL if someone in the game cheats! Is this really true? Even though I have done nothing wrong and not even thought about cheating? Plus I always quit the game when someone was flying around the place or I saw the flashy text go up the screen.
I am very worried about this now as I hope I havn't picked up some sort of virus from these idiots, or get banned, just for trying to play a game in the normal way in the multiplayer section of the menu. How do I know if I am infected or not? The only time I play WAW now is with a friend of mine and we play in a private match on the zombie levels, because we don't want to run into any cheaters. Or we just play split screen local.
Can anyone help me with this?
