Xbox one power supply

So right now I live oversea's(Italy) and i own an American spec. xbox one.  Concerning the power supply if im to purchase a 240v power supply would the console run properly or is the system only designed to run off of one voltage.

The power brick converts from the local AC power standard to the DC power required by the console. An Xbox One power supply designed to run in a 240v region will provide the correct DC power to the console.

Note that the Xbox One power supplies are not worldwide compatible from an AC input perspective. A US power brick will not work in a 240v region.

That makes sense, I may have missed it but is there somewhere that i can purchase a 240V power suppy from directly from xbox that you know of?

The only way to purchase an Xbox One power supply is via Support. It's possible to purchase a spare for your specific console on the http://myservice.xbox.com website. Give this a try:

From myservice.xbox.com, choose Replace an Accessory

Select your Xbox One from the list

Select Power Supply

Select Next

On the page displayed, select the text that states (Select an accessory not shown)

The page after that should show a power supply price. According to that page, the power supply shipped will be one that matches the shipping address. In theory, that should get you the PSU you need.

Note that there's an option to update your profile further down the page. You'll have to in order to change the ship to region.

Followed your steps but it doesn't work right since there automatic system doesn't recognize my APO address as oversea's for this product since its tech. a USA address.  I'm going to contact customer support right now and see if they can do anything to help me

That sucks. Yeah, give them a call, but they may not be receptive. You may need to escalate to Tier 2 and then PM one of the official forum support people or tweet to @XboxSupport with your case number.

I just finished working with support.  For military they say just inputting our correct APO address is all we need for there system to make sure we receive the correct PS.  Once i get mine ill let you know.

I have this same issue but without the benefit of an apo address.   US support did not understand the situation and said they could not send me the part.  I am interested in hearing what part you end up with.
