Xbox Live Region and Language

When I set up my xbox live account I was unaware that I had switched my region from America to Germany. I didn't really notice it until I purchased Microsoft credits. When I tried to activate them i received an error code because the points were purchased in the US and xbox thought i was from Germany. Now recently with the latest updates everything is in German, which I can't read well. I found through google translate the region information on the support page. The only problem is since I am "underage" I can not transfer my region, and it wont let me transfer to my parents windows live to allow the transfer.

Once an XBL account is created the age nor region can be changed. The latter can only be done if you live in one of the nine newly added regions to XBL, which neither region you mention are a part of. You only recourse is to create a new account with the correct region selected. And no, nothing is transferable from one account to another. However so long as you don't change consoles all accounts will be able to share content, avatar items excluded.

 

Just an FYI, participating in modded lobbies will only end very badly for you. (Google is amazing!)
