Xbox 360 slim 4GB Stuck on Splash Screen *Help*

Hi Everyone  , so ive purchased a Xbox 360 slim 4GB early this year and it has worked fine up untill now where its stuck on the splash screen when you turn it on , usaully takes like 3 seconds to get it into the sign in dash but now i have to wait 10-15mins to get it working again well sort of ....

So this is what happens when i turn it on and stays like like for quite a long time

So i just restart the console and it works fine except my profile is gone and it wont read my hard drive anymore , ive done some reserch and found out that the hard drive is built inside and this may be causing the problem so im looking for a solution to get it working properly again. This happens everytime i turn on my console and ive noticed that quite a few people have had this problem on their 4gb console aswel .

Well since it cant load up your profile or find it.You may wanna format your hardrive.Put your game saves on the cloud or a external device.Then after all thats done get your profile onto your 360 and try it out.If you do figure this out,once in a while clear the system catche on you hard drive.That makes a big diffrence.Good .luck and i hope everything works out for you.

But the problem is that it is not reading my hard drive on the xbox , i can recover my profile or make another but the xbox itself has some sort or problem . It takes about 10 - 15 mins to get past the splash screen and comes up with the message in the second picture .

Take you'r hard-drive and all the power cables out then put all them back in but not the hard drive then turn your console on. when its on the dashboard put in your hard drive and i hope it helps.

Its a Xbox 360 Slim 4GB , so the memory is internal and located under the disc drive and i dont want to open it as im going to see if it is still under warranty .

Its will not do anything to your warrant you and have to push the little clip and the black cover will come off then remove the hard drive.

Theres nothing there as the 4gb has an Internal Hard Drive , its a small chip under the disc drive from what i found out on the net .

Ok, But just look at the bottom of you console and you should see that one of those black things have a little latch thing just pull it back and you will see a black thing with a little wire thing on it pull the wire and your hard drive will come out! Also click yes if this helped.

Try doing an update with a USB Drive to see if that fixes it, if not I would consider giving Xbox Support a call and booking a repair.

wow...what part of internal hard drive did you not understand.Having the same problem.Stuck on splash screen.I can get it to finally load up but then it doesn't recognize any save device..

Yes i have a internal hard drive and its located at the bottom of your xbox!
