NAT settings and opening ports

Alright so I bought my 360 back in February and I bought a year of Xbox LIVE gold. I had to open up my ports to connect to parties and such but it wasn't a big deal really. Well, since then I've had to open my ports 6 times. I don't know why it isn't "sticking" but it's driving me absolutely daft. It seems to pick the worst possible moments to mess up. Could someone tell me how to keep my damn ports open??? I've had a few game systems connect via wifi in my house and this is the first time I've ever had problems.

Hi,

Please read:- forums.xbox.com/.../9.aspx

And post back your details in full (the bits that are in bold on that post) so that people may help

If you are wireless can you also state whether you are using the white or black external adapter or the Xbox 360S Internal adapter

Thanks

Here you go:- portforward.com/.../Xbox_Live_360.htm

You must ensure you use a static ip address on the Xbox or reserve the same address for the Xbox each time using DHCP on the gateway (if it supports that feature)
