Well, I want to import an Xbox one to my country (because my country it's not supported), and I want to know if I have to buy a voltage transformer or simply don't buy an Xbox One.
Thanks!

Hey Jafu,
I don't believe your console will work correctly there especially since its in a region that is not supported. As far as a power converter it should be possible but again it maybe not useful in the unsupported region.
Sorry to bring you that news. Reach out if you have any other questions that we can help with.

I am having the same problem. And the console WILL work correctly in an unsupported region, because all it needs is a game disc, an Internet connection, and a proper power supply. It is not region-locked.
Can you please provide us with any contact in "supported" countries (in my case, Germany would be preferred) which we can talk to regarding getting and shipping the proper power supply?

You could use the existing power supply, but you would need a step down transformer to convert from 220 to 110 and also provide the correct plug.

Yes, the step-down autotransformer would be the best solution so far. The only problem is that it can be bulky (Xbox would probably need a 300W one), and it often creates an irritating buzzing sound. That's why I would consider that as the last option.
To provide another useful answer, hacking an ATX power supply, and attaching its 12V and 5V outputs to the console would also do the work, but that is still a hack.
Today I spent ~3 hours talking with a tech support on this matter, and the only person who seemed to understand and willing to help me with the problem was an agent from German Xbox support. I will follow up with him tomorrow, and keep this post alive.

Update:
Seems like it is easier to order a kidney than a 220V Xbox One power supply.
I've contacted multiple technical supports, I was being transferred from one agent to another, lost couple of hours in total... In the end, I asked my German-speaking friend to call the German support (the voltage/plug in my country is the same). Seems like they can sell me the power supply, but (for security reasons), it must be shipped to German address, and paid with a German credit card. Moreover, a verification code (sent to the XbLive-linked e-mail account) has to be entered while making a purchase, and the code itself has a validity period of 5 minutes.
Maybe I'll just go with a custom built autotransformer...

There are some "Xbox One" supplies up for order on aliexpress, but after magnifying the images from the gallery, it seems like they provide only 135W. I would personally stay away of those...

It seems like there is the same discussion across multiple threads... The most complete solution I came up with, together with a discussion of why you should not buy the third-party PSU is on
