I found that but im not paying £150 just to record games. Is there a cheaper method of recording gameplay through HDMI?

Blackmagic intensity pro is 135 quid - but you need a decent spec machine (probably with a stripped array on a couple of hard disks) - I borrowed one, got it all set up, but I could only get 20FPS on my quad core, 8GB RAM machine.

Also, HDMI on 360 is protected with HDCP which makes it difficult to record content from HDMI unless your using a development console - your best bet is over component.

We've got a few of those Hauppauge's at work - I'm helping someone try to Livestream a game onto an online service. They are really good and really easy to use, and record a good picture at 1080i
