1. Press 
+ R.
2. Type “msconfig” and press Enter or click
OK.
Security
note: If UAC is enabled then a UAC prompt will appear asking
for permission or password, provide permission or password to pass.
3. Navigate to Startup tab and there you have a list,
uncheck a selected startup item and click Apply and
OK.
