Annoying Black Box

Hello, 

On my computer, there constantly appears a black pop up box that flashes, disappears, and comes back, all within a second. This is very annoying, and I am wondering how this could go away. Is it a pop up? A Virus? The box has something to do with "windows commands" but is hard to read because it goes away and comes back so quickly. Could you please help me? Thanks!

This sounds like a recurring task that someone scheduled to run on your computer at regular intervals. Have a look at the Task Scheduler for a possible culprit. If this means nothing to you then you can do this:

1. Click Start, then type the three letters cmd into the Search box and press Enter.
2. Type this command and press Enter:
   schtasks /v /query > "%UserProfile%\Desktop\schedule.txt"
3. Open the file schedule.txt on your desktop
4. Examine the list and/or copy and paste the text into your response.
