As per the subject line, please helpMy calendar and weather gadgets stopped working after the most recent Windows 7 (premium) update. The gadgets are displayed on the desktop, but they don't work. Today's date isn't displayed and the weather gadget doesn't establish contact with the server so nothing is displayed. What happened, and how do I fix it?

I have fixed this issue:
Open regedit and go to - HKey_Current_User / Software / Microsoft / Windows/ CurrentVersion / Internet Settings / Zones
You will see 5 zones one with a funny symbol ¬ and 0 to 4 just delete the funny looking zone, roeboot and all fixed.
Enjoy
