Windows 10 Apps Not Working At All

Recently, all my Windows 10 apps have stopped working. (Ex: Groove Music, Photo Viewer, Movie/Video Player).

Whenever I click one, it opens for a split second before closing again. I'm on a i7-4500U 64Bit Windows 10 Lenovo Laptop that had been running the apps fine until around 2-3 days ago, when it all stopped working. I have no idea what went wrong, but running the

/sfc scannow command in administrator command prompt resulted in the following "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files, but was unable to fix...."

Can any techy guys help me. D:

Hi,

Let us first of all repair apps and then we would repair the corrupted files if needed.

Check if reinstalling all apps fixes for you.

  • Open Start Menu and type powershell. It'll automatically start searching for the program and will show PowerShell in search results.right-click on PowerShell and select "Run as Administrator" option.

Then Enter the following command that will reinstall all the modern apps in Windows :

  • Get-AppxPackage -allusers | foreach {Add-AppxPackage -register "$($_.InstallLocation)\appxmanifest.xml" -DisableDevelopmentMode}
Reply back with the results.

I see no other option than do a repair Install that would keep everything and reinstall windows .

Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade

You can use the built in feature to add an image-use the 2nd button from the right to add one.
