Can you print to other printers. If so, it would seem to be a problem with the installation of Acrobat.
As an alternative, use the File>Save & Send>Create PEF/XPS Document facility to create the PDF, or if you want to append the PDF to another PDF file, get hold of the free PrimoPDF
-- Hope this helps.

Hi,
I have the same problem on a win7 outlook 2010 installation using Win2PDF7.
Also I have the problem when I try to print to the Microsoft XPS printer.
Therefore, I believe the problem is related to Outlook / windows 7 and not to Adobe, Win2PDF or other third part SW providers.
Any idea?

In Outlook when I use "Microsoft Print to PDF" to save a PDF file to a folder name containing characters comma and/or round brackets, I get the error message "Printer not ready".
I repeat the above action for folder name not containing the above characters (comma, round brackets) and the PDF file successfully save.
My setup is
Windows 10
Outlook 2013
Acrobat Reader DC
Hope this help someone.
