Power Query - Excel freezes if I want to transform the data

I am trying to load data from a csv file into excel power query.  The data loads fine but if I want to transform the data in the power query editor, excel freezes.  Note i have been using this on my PC for months with no problems until this am.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled office (Office 365 for Buisness) etc.  Spent some time on the phone with Office support but they couldn't help.

Disable graphics acceleration:

1. Click on the Excel application to open it;
2. Click New, then File and Option;
3. In the options on the left side of the screen, click Advanced;
4. In the Display configuration option, check the Disable hardware graphics acceleration option and click OK.
