How to change download location in Microsoft edge for Android?

Downloaded files in Microsoft Edge for Android in not seen in gallery or documents. They are downloaded deep in Android system folder. How can i change the Download folder to my choice?

can you remove that download folder with long path (in my case /Android/data/com.microsoft.emmx/files/Download), and try download a file?  On my phone, it will show a error message but then start downloading to the normal folder (/Download).  It will recreate the original folder but it wont use it.

I don't know what happened!

I removed all the contents from the Edge default download folder (not the folder itself) to my Download folder. I don't know when Edge changed the drive from Internal storage to SD card but kept the full  path Android/data/com.microsoft.emmx/files/Download.

Still the downloaded pictures and videos are not shown in Gallery.

Same here with me, this has been a constant issue for me, as it takes me at least 5 minutes each time to locate the downloaded files I need. I switched over to Edge on all my devices because it's better in all ways except for this one (in my opinion). I wish this could get resolved soon. Thank you!

I did 2 things.

1. I use Samsung Galaxy A30S. I create a shortcut of the Edge download folder in My Files of my phone. So, i don't have to go to the download folder deep inside the Android folder of Internal memory or SD card.2. Later, I switched to Firefox, cause i can't open any downloaded file directly from Edge

Having issue finding where the heck EDGE moves my downloaded files to....

I look for them in the download folder in ANDROID 9 not there.....HMMM

So I go to my files app to locate it.....A simple pdf File....had to search  to find it among the many...

WOW...can they fix this...TILL THEN I AM USING CHROME FOR DOWNLOADS..

I just downloaded the but got this setback . Lol why are they not allowed us to get our own downloaded files .  

So type F to pay respect edge developers

This is the worse thing that Microsoft has done to the new Edge. They must allow the users to choose where to download too!

My Edge says that SD Card not found when trying to download, maybe because i migrated my back up to me phone, also InPrivate won't let me take screenshot!
