The Games Host Removed You From The Session

I'm not sure about gears 1...but in 2 that is true. The message you got is when the host leaves.

You were playing a player match, and that is the message you get when the host boots you..

So in GOW1 the host can boot you at his will, it has nothing to do with your connection lagging? Also what do you mean by a "player match".

There's Ranked Match and Player Match. In a Ranked Match the host cannot kick you out, but in a Player Match the host can kick you.

Thanks for the clarification. I'll have to check that out in GOW1 and try Ranked Match. I would have thought it being the other way around - being kicked out of a player match sound more like a "Social Match" for fun and not be competitive.

The message came up very often & I wonder if it was they didn't feel I was good enough to play or a problem on my end with lagging either disconnecting me or just appearing to slow to the other players.Because of this I stopped playing multiplayer on GOW1. I guess being gooted is no fun and the purpose of playing games is to have a good time.

Yeah, I get booted sometimes while playing player matches. It isn't that often though. Most people on there just want to play some matches. The main problem I have is that most people replace all the weapons with Snipers. I like having the default weapons laying around. Like grenades and the bow n' arrow. I don't know the technical names...lol

Yes, that's a bummer for sure! Most people do want to play matches for fun to have a good time. Maybe that's why they removed that feature from GOW2.

this just happended to me like 5 mins ago... in a ranked horde match! wtf, i hate this, im trying to earn xp and some guy removes me when its hard enough finally to find more horde team members...
