SSF4 Arcade Edition DLC purchase

I just purchased the complete alternative costume pack for Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade edition for PC on GFWL marketplace

The problem is the dlc is not working. After searching a lot for the cause i found out the dlc does not work with the Steam version of the game. This is really something that should be mentioned in the purchase form or at least it should be more easy to find because i had to search a lot to find this simple fact.

I have also heard that the aforementioned dlc will be available on steam soon.

 

Is there any way to get a refund?
if not will i be able to use this dlc in any way when the steam dlc comes out as a way of refunding my purchase?

Steam is it's own platform, separate from Games for Windows live. They are not the same thing.

It's similar to buying DLC from PS3 and then expecting it to work on 360, PC, Wii, and your Phone.

In the future, please be aware - Steam =/= Games for Windows Live.

You might try asking Steam Support about it, but there is nothing we can do here.

there was something you should have done and that was to give a clear heads-up about situations like this. from the moment a game was tranferred to steam and still had the gfwl there should be a clearance as to where the dlcs should be purchased, and there wasnt.

If you can display these 2 words large and clear, you can also display some other critical information to avoid situations like mine. In the future please consider it.
