I have never been able to redeem points

I have never been able to use my card to add points, because it always tells me that my number is not valid. Anyone know how to solve this?

Well I just managed to, I guess I had to add the card separately instead of trying to add it while purchasing points.

So when you tried adding the card during the checkout process, it didn't work, but if you add the card by itself, it worked? What was the full error message/code you got when trying to add the card during checkout?
