I bought my Xbox 360 console in the USA and I live in South Africa. I bought a game in South Africa and it won't play on my console. Is there any way to get the game/s from South Africa to play as I won't always be able to buy games in the US as I live in South Africa?

Can't play games from another region

I'm sorry to inform you but due to the console in question having a different region code (NTSC) than your country has (PAL), you will not be able to play games bought in South Africa on your USA console.

It will depend on the game you are trying to play, but only a percentage of Xbox 360 games are region free. If you're only ever going to be purchasing games in South Africa, it would be best to get a South Africa (PAL) Xbox 360. However, you can usually find a region compatability list online to see what games you could potentially play on your US (NTSC) Xbox 360
