BERSERKER?

I do not know about the campaign but I believe I have seen regular and lambent beserkers in Horde Mode 2.0 footage. I know lambent beserkers are in the campaign.

PS: GoW 2 was underground too much so the Hammer of Dawn would not work and then there would be no way to kill a beserker and that is why Epic left them out.

yes they have berserkers. they're lambent as well.

I would imagine a " lambent " berserker would be just as bad @@@ as the regular? Well if it is in horde its got to be in the campaign...I hope.

[/quote]remember the Cliffy E3 Reveal footage? they'll be in campaign, because they meet hoffman at the base and then a lambent berserker attacks, and the screen fades to black.

[/quote]it's even less damaged by bullets than normal... and i think it can actually see, so yeah, it'll be tougher to kill.

Yeah the first time I went against the Berserker in Gears 1 I was like how do you kill this thing!!! The one on the train was easy but in the halls and then in the greenhouse type building? Yeah boi

i think it was said that the light mass bomb wiped out the kryll and the berserkers in gears of war 1, which is why we didn't see them in 2.If i'm right i'd like to see how they brought back the berserkes as lambent. i hope it not something like the emulsion brought them back to life, then we see Raam again. But like everyone said lambent berksers are in campaign not sure on regular ones

I said the lambent beserker was in the campaign but I have yet to see a regular beserker.

Bullets do not harm beserkers at all

Only the kryll were wiped out. Like I mentioned before, no beserkers in GoW 2 because most of the game was underground so you couldn''t kill a beserker with the Hammer.
