Annihilation map pack troubles (not region related)

Basically, I bought the map pack, left it to download when I went out, came back and it had failed at 1%. Everytime I try to download it again, my xbox either crashes and reboots, or it just fails at either 1% or 0%.

This has nothing to do with my region so its not like 90% of the stuff on the forum apparently, which probably means its harder to fix :(

Any help or insight will be appreciated.
