Won't register gold membership

I just renewed my X-box live gold membership, an hour ago. On this website it says that i have a gold membership, but when i turn on my xbox it just says that i have X-box live free. Why does it take so long time. It's like it don't want to register my buy!

Can you try recovering your gamertag to your console, to see if that resolves the issue?

Mine is doing the same except it says I'm a Gold user both on here and the website but my gamestell a different story.

There is always a little lag if you renew/purchase LIVE on Xbox.com. You can speed things up by either testing your network or recovering your profile. Enjoy!
