Update Failed, Status Code 3F4B-0000-3080-0508-8007-2746

So my Xbox is fairly new and I have yet to have any problems with it until this point. I tried getting on 2day and an update came up, I tried downloading the update but it would only get about 1/4 of the way finished and would stop and tell me the update failed:cant download the update. tells me to test my xbox live connection and if the problem persists go to xbox support. and has the status code above. i tested my connection and everything checks out except the xbox live part, which idk why it would be doing that,also because the update says that i wont be able to connect to xbox live until i installed the update,so if i cant do the update i dont know how it expects me 2 complete the connetion test, and my wireless connection throughout my house is excellent so i dont think its a network problem.

Could you check to make sure you have enough space on your hard drive, the latest update is about 200 MB

I am having this same problem. I've checked my memory and I still have 207 gb left.....any other suggestions?

I am having the same error, but no idea how to fix it. I have tried all of the troubleshooting options for the past three hours and nothing helped. Clearing the memory cache on my harddrive (which doesn't affect any files) allowed me to download it but when my xbox restarted it said I had to download the update again and the error appeared. Maybe the cache clear would help you.

I have tried this and it won't even let me download it....it goes the same distance and says the same thing, I've turned it off and back on.....nothing, did the system cache, nothing....anything else?

Guys I got mine to update! I went to support.xbox.com/.../system-updates-info and did the cd one and it worked fine! So if you are still having trouble I recommend looking into one of these methods! I hope it works for you guys!

Called Comcast, had them send a refresh signal to my modem and I was finally able to download it. If I had a choice living in DC I would never give those thieves another dime. Check with your ISP and clear your cache as well.
