Change xbox360 language COMPLETELY

Hi guys, 
I recently bought my xbox360 and I noticed that al the tabs and stuff in the main menu were in English, except for some menu's, like the 'tv & movies' tab and the 'music' and the 'settings' tab and all submenu's of those tabs are in dutch, I would really just like to get it all in one language, I believe I have already changed my region to UK and my language to English but of the latter I am not quite sure since I am at my parents' house in the weekends and my xbox is in my studio at campus. Does anyone know how to get it all in English? I am not sure whether it depens on the console or my account or my IP adress or whatever.

Getting the same here.. I'm in Montréal, Canada. My locale is set to Montréal and my language to english, but half my menus are in french. Spent the last hour trying to find something about it on xbox.com, but couldn't find anything.

This issue is due to your account region. Despite your console settings your console will download information from Xbox Live including the language causing some of the dashboard to display in your account regions language and other bits in the consoles set language.

There is currently no fix to this other than disconnecting from Xbox Live (which isn't usually a real option).

Yeah I've been told to look into my account billing information, I would be able to switch ''preferred language'' to english and thus the rest of my account. I'll try to eventually, when I'll be able to access my billing info...

But if it's only a ''region language'' matter, there is kind of an issue here, Canada having both french and english as official languages. Half the people living in Montréal do not speak french and there are french-speaking communities in every other provinces of Canada..

It is NOT about being in another location! Many people have this issue and all of them chose their home country as region, for me this is belgium, I don't want to change my region, I want to change the displayed language so please fix this, give us an optipn to choose any language or at least english so we don't have a partially englisch partially native language dashboard, because that just looks ridiculous.
