Can't sign into old Xbox account after data transfer

i recently transfered data from my old Xbox hard drive to my new slim console, after transfering it wasnt allowing me to get onto my profile, it worked fine before. gamertag is legendkillr25.

when i try to sign into my profile it starts signing in then a screen pops up saying information is not valid...i tried to recover the profile and it says something similar...

Same thing happening to me while trying to transfer my wifes profile.  If i recover her gt will it erase all the achievements she got offline? its not much but she is pretty proud of them =). And will it fix the not valid info screen we keep gettin??

when i try to recover it says "there is a problem with the credentials you are using to sign in. to correct the problem visit https://account.live.com"    i know all the info is right as i reset my password to see if that was the reason but no luck.
