Banned from Xbox LIVE

I was banned from Xbox LIVE on my console a few months ago on my old account. My friend recently told me that I could try to post my claim and reasoning here and get my account back. My account was banned after I changed my Gamertag to inappropriate things too many times. I was never warned about being banned if I changed it too many times, and I didn't think it was too big of a deal after it happened, as I could just make a new account. Some time passed, and I tried to play the map packs on Black Ops for the first time in a few months, but I realized that I had deleted them from my console before I got banned on my previous account because my hard drive (20G) ran out of space for something else I wanted to download and I hadn't been playing Zombies on Black Ops in quite a while. After this, I tried to play many DLC's and other games I had downloaded on my Xbox (before my first account got banned) but deleted for the same reason as the Black Ops Map Packs and realized that I had deleted almost everything I had on my Xbox because of the lack of space in my hard drive. These are just some of things I lost from getting my account banned:

  • All four Black Ops Map Packs
  • Halo Reach Noble Map Pack
  • Gears of War 3 Season Pass
  • Battlefield 3 Online Pass
  • LIMBO
  • Castle Crasher
  • Borderlands
  • Hexic HD
  • Fallout: New Vegas Dead Money DLC
  • Three Fallout 3 DLC's
  • Alien Hominid
  • South Park Tower Defense
  • Marathon Durandel
  • Battlefield 1943

As you can see, this was very stressful to me, seeing as though I lost plus or minus $120 from this experience. I acknowledge what I did and understand how it violated the Code of Conduct, but like I said, I was never warned by Xbox that I could lost my membership/account if I continued to change my Gamertag. Is there anything I can do to get my account or games and DLC's back onto my Xbox? Thank you for reading this, and I really hope someone can help me. It would me more than a lot.

sorry when you are perm banned for too many forced name changes there is ZERO appeal the only way to get your stuff back is to create a new account and buy it all over again, the only 'warning' you will ever get is the COC aka code of conduct.  posting here will do nothing as the PET (policy enforcement team) do not read or post out of the suspension/bans forum.  I know you do not want to hear it but that is all you will be told.

Are you not able to download the add ons (with your current account) which you have purchased with your previous banned account? Is the only thing that has changed is your gamer tag and not your windows live id? I would think that as long as you have the same live ID through all the gamer tag changes you have gone through you would still be able to access your downloads.

Can you clear up one thing for me, did the console get banned or was your live account banned? If it was the console I think you would need a new console, since banned consoles are not allowed to get online, and I guess if they can't connect to live they can't be used to download DLC.

You should contact xbox support directly, you can find their number here, support.xbox.com/.../contact-us.

You can also email them here, support.xbox.com/.../email-us just click on xbox live under standard services.

Hope this resolves your issue.

@Anteater contacting support will not help the OP in this situation. His account ban is permanent and as dave has stated above he will be unable to retrieve anything he bought with that account.
