Error code 1603 not able to install Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0a in Windows XP machine.

Original Title: I Can't install .Net framework 2.0 SP1, in Window XP !!!  Any one HELP me plsssssss.......

When i try to install I got following Error :)
[03/14/11,21:39:25] Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0a: [2] Error: Installation failed for component Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0a. MSI returned error code 1603
[03/14/11,21:39:36] WapUI: [2] DepCheck indicates Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0a is not installed.

Hi Rishi,

How are you trying to install .Net framework 2.0 SP1?

You may follow this link and check if the issue persists.

When you try to install an update for the .NET Framework 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, or 3.5, you may receive Windows Update error code "0x643" or Windows Installer error code "1603"
