I have downloaded photoshop 3 as well as windows movie maker onto another Window xp computer which I recently purchased and I have trying to add the media profiles created by papajohn on his website. However, I am constantly getting "file is corrupted"
messages, how can I get these profiles onto photo shop as well as the numerous profiles created for windows movie makers?
Ok...that explains it...actually the .prx files should be associated
with Windows Media Profile Editor and you probably don't have
that and you don't need it unless you plan to create profiles yourself.
However...if you place them in the correct folders as they are...
they should still work.
At any rate......how do we change the .prx files back to normal?
Go to...Start button / Control Panel / Folder Options / File Types tab...
Scroll down to...PRX...and select (highlight) it.
Left click the 'Restore' button / Close.
