Windows 7 with Oblivion install problem.

I am an Elder Scrolls lover and today I upgraded to Windows 7. Hoping to play Oblivion I started to install it, sadly I got this error.

An Error (-5006 : 0x8007007b) has occured while running the setup. Please make sure you have finished any previous setups and closed other applications. If the error still occurs, please contact your vendor: Bethesda Softworks. (http://www.bethsoft.com/).

Any advice?

I am using Windows 7 x32 bit. I am a bit new with windows 7 so please if you can help me fix my problem with step by step advice.

Error 0x8007007B: "The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect." Check that, reinstall and be aware of BossDweebe's advice. The "Program Files" folder on the system partition is a protected folder and UAC (user account control) may block access to some files needed for the installation. I can confirm that there's no conflict between Oblivion and Windows 7 (all expansions and 30+ mods installed).
