There are many people saying "one should install W8 to bring new life to old PC's".
They forgot to consider that manufacturers do not provide graphics drivers for old laptops, and W8 doesn't either.
Personally, I'm rather disappointed after paying 40 USD, Upgrade Advisor saying nothing against my graphics adapter, then boot up in 4:3's resolution (1280x1024) on a generic Microsoft Display driver.
Does anyone have an idea of how could I get proper drivers for my adapter ?
It's an ATI Mobility Radeon X600, on an old Sony Vaio A63 laptop.
Thanks in advance.
