Canon i9900 printer won't work with Windows 7 (64)
I just got a new laptop with Windows 7 (64) and can't seem to get my Canon i9900 printer to connect to it via my home network. My Canon MX860 printer connected with no problems. I've already gone to the Canon website and downloaded the driver update,
but it won't work. It starts to download, then pops to a new page and says it's installed. Try to connect the printer again, and it states there is no driver available. Any suggestions? Thank you.
What error message do you get when you connect the printer to the homegroup?
Uninstall the drivers for Canon i9900 completely. Download the drivers from the link given below save it on the desktop, after uninstalling the drivers
from device manager install the downloaded driver.
