Laptop keyboard only typing special characters (accented ones)
My Windows 7 laptop keyboard will only type in special characters (e.g. accented letters) and no regular letters or symbols. Help please? Laptop is currently unusable as I am unable to type. Have tried using both the built-in keyboard and a wireless one
and the issues is with both.
Well oddly enough it turns out to be the 'AltGr' button. How did I ever not notice that key next to the space bar??! Pressed it a couple times & everything is in order again. Thanks to the OP though because had you not mentioned it I wouldn't have thought
to try it :)
