Fails to install Windows 10, version 1709 update due to old software

Feature update to Windows 10, version 1709

It keeps telling me I have Nero - Burning CD software installed .. I don't .. I never installed it when I upgraded to Win10. There is no trace in the registry and the only folder with Nero in the name was pretty much empty apart from one .dll file.

Anyone have any ideas how to rid myself of Nero so the install completes?

I found another post in the community and this is how the person dealt with the issue and then said he was able to update.

I resolved this error by checking, defragging and optimising the drive, setting DEP to all programs, disconnecting all external drives etc and then installing from a USB stick. No Nero error.
