Microsoft App store error code 0x00000194 on game pages only.

Hello.

I am having problems with Microsoft Store games. The app profile pages for games will not load, I simply get "Try that again, Page could not be loaded. Please try again later." and then the 0x00000194 error code at the bottom. I don't get any errors with anything else such as apps, devices or film&TV.

I have tried everything I can find/think of to fix this, including WSReset, powershell commands, I have uninstalled the store itself with ccleaner and run the powershell command to reinstall it, tried turning off my anti-virus, deleted temp folders, updated everything, checked my account settings, checked firewall settings, I have even gone as far as reinstalling Windows 10 completely. Nothing has worked.

I was sure that it was something to do with my account as it seemed to work until I logged in. However I can still see the store pages logged-in online in chrome (https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/p/forza-horizon-3-standard-edition/9nblggh4x6t9?cid=msft_web_chart#activetab=pivot:overviewtab) and can open and view pages in the store app and remotely install etc from there, but as soon as I leave the page in the store app it's lost again, back to error.

You may try the step listed below and check if it works,

Change Microsoft user account name:

  • Sign out of the Microsoft Store.

  • Go to account.microsoft.com/profile/edit-name and login with your Microsoft account.

  • Modify your last name.

  • Save your changes.

  • Sign in to the Microsoft Store.
